Motorpsycho's 2013 album, "Still Life with Eggplant", can be viewed as a collection of songs that has been simmering in the band's collective subconsciousness for the past several years while they were busy doing other things. After having given such projects as the "Death Defying Unicorn" album and tour their unlimited attention over a number of years, the band's "other music" had taken a backseat for awhile. But the songs refused to be ignored any longer, and the band felt compelled to return to Brygga Studio in Trondheim for the first time in many years to record some 20 of these songs - all in all three years worth of new material. And here they are, the first of these gems to see the light of day.
