Phil & Bren of Splitloop are a fantastically talented and witty duo from Dublin, Ireland, who met on a bus on the way to a Prodigy gig and hit it off after discovering a mutual love for electronic music. Since then they have been locked away in deepest Dublin developing a funk fuelled style of breaks which has won them the respect of The Plump DJs, Tayo, Krafty Kuts and Soul Of Man amongst others. Its been little over a year since Splitloop started releasing music and in this short space of time they have achieved more than the average bear. They have released a plethora of critically acclaimed singles, notched up 5 bookings in the main room at Fabric, appeared on BBC Radio 1 and written what we feel is the best breaks album in sometime.
