This album is a beautifully crafted collection of melodic songs which I wasnt really expecting to like. JJ has a wonderfully rich voice that hooks you into the tune and especially the chorus. Lots of strings and some clever hooks make this a hybrid betweeen folk and dare I say 'middle of the road' but not in the 'corny' sence of the Never thought I'd enjoy this type of sound but I found I was entranced by the way the songs unravel and pull you in so that you dont push the pause or next track button and I have played this half a dozen times! Sit back,relax and enjoy the mellow sounds of a well rounded singer/songwriter.
