Guatemalan producer Rodrigo Valdez returns to Ora Recordings with his third release on the label called 'Horizonte'. Rogrido has come along way from his first releases. He is slowly growing from track after track. An indication that good things are to come from this talented young producer. His new release features two tracks 'Bello Horizonte' and 'White River', you can hear Rod V's evolution as a producer. It is becoming a bit difficult to classify his unique sound. 'Bello Horizonte' starts things off with a nice and deep vibe. Solid rhythms and a deep driving bassline carries the track from start to finish. The breakdown features a lovely Sitar riff giving the track a warm melodic feel. This one is ideal for warm up sets or to get any floor going. 'White River' continues the flow from 'Horizonte'. Here you can find a more laid back and minimal sound. Hypnotic and loopy rhythms make this one funky and techy for the darker room. A great start things off or for opening sets.
