Background In 1996 Erik and Veronica made their first dance music and soon thereafter they started a co-operation with a drama group. They called them self DD Hello and performed in the districts youth centres and churches etc. After a year they caught the booking company DOT Music's attention, which lead to that the gig opportunities grew. In 1997 the group performed at the Burserydfestival in Småland. In the audience there where represents from the record company Feedback records, they contacted the band and they started discussing about future co-operation. Dot Music and Feedback records decided that they together should go for the group, that now called them self Pilot. So the spring of '98 they spent as well on the road as in the studio. It became closer between the gig dates and at the same time Pilot prepared their first album "Equality" that was released August the first '98.
