The Release
Shades(review from England) Not being particularly fan of folk pop, I was pleasantly surprised with Shades. Their soft, easy to listen music is not pretentious - just right. Soothing vocals, and relaxed lyrics atmosphere makes you want to drive through out the night. "Barefoot Dancing", "Cherry Wine" and "We". Good songs from a good band with great production team. In year one of hitting the music scene, Pittsburgh based band "Shades" is really making a name for themselves. Regular favorites in local watering holes, Shades has also gotten national recognition this summer. Recently opening for national touring artists Rhett Akins, Jeff Carson and Darryle Singeltary, Shades has also received an invitation to open for The Bellemy Brothers and David Lee Murphy this fall when they play in Ohio. This summer also marks the release of their debut cd entitled "The Release" currently available in the Pittsburgh area and select online companies. A 14 track Cd which captures a diverse musical sound all to their own.
