Elegance is a latin jazz project founded in 2008. The first idea was in 2005 called Sincopa and with the time, the name has changed to "Elegance" like the first album name. It is a fusion of Cuban and world music with traditional jazz, highlighting the dynamics and rhythmic details in an elegant repertoire and the band is composed of high-level musicians based in the city of Miami. Its founder Yorgis Goiricelaya, bassist and arranger musician with international quality which has worked and participated with great figures of the Latin market, and Grammy Award winning artists, has toured worldwide and is endorsed by prestigious brands of musical instruments. In 2009, the project launches album called Elegance like the project name, involving figures such as Paquito D'Rivera, Issac Delgado, Osmany Paredes and the best exponents of Latin jazz in South Florida, two years after Yorgis launch their live DVD called Elegance by night which involved most of the members of the first CD. Elegance has performed at numerous venues in South Florida, Miami festivals, has also been on tour in Costa Rica, Alaska, New York and soon in Mexico with a very positive acceptance of audiences and producers, making a pleasant time for the audience of jazz and other genres.
