The Flood’s third official full length album entitled ”Flood Ritual” is a masterpiece of underground, boom-bap, hard core hip-hop. This already “classic” record is bound to be a hard-core hip-hopper’s dream album. This project features the perfect balance of hard hitting hooks and lyrics; along with brutal and yet smooth beats with ultra-sharp cuts. Every member of The Flood has their memorable verses. Also, the emcees featured from their larger crew, The Dezert Banditz, brings an added punch. The consistency of the album is one where; you press play and let it ride; this is the subtle genius of Kuma’s production. Over all I honestly have to say as a fan I am hooked, and this is one of my favorite albums I have heard in years. Mad props to all The Flood for bringing a classic style of hip-hop back to the fore-front. This album is a must have so cop your cd now!!!
