The music on this CD was recorded in 1982 and 1983 and released in 1984. All of the master tapes have disappeared into history or the dumpster...it's hard to tell the difference. In any event, I recently located the quarter inch 15 ips masters and while they are twenty five years old, i managed to get a couple of play throughs before they disintegrated. So while these recordings do not possess the original sparkle that they once had (I mean, who does, really?), I believe that they are imminently listenable and I am amazed at the energy and joy that can be discerned by even the most casual of listeners. Many of the songs on this CD have not been sung live by me in at least twenty five years or possibly not at all, but thanks to the wonders of Beachwood Recording Studio, I not only got to hear them again, I have decided that they must go back into my repertoire. Thanks for bringing this CD home with you and for bringing this music into your life. I made this music when I was shiney and new. See you down one of these roads...
