Pangaea
Hello! My name is Andrew, and I would like to share my music with you. Pangaea was written and recorded over a period of 16 months in a tiny rental home in Auburn, AL, while also attempting to accomplish other things, like getting a college degree in engineering. In it are stories about some things that occupy my mind from time to time: myself, people I’ve never met, and the end of the world. You’ll hear some definite variation in instrumental and lyrical styles, because life changes a lot in a year and a half. In many ways, this solo project was not a solo project at all. I am grateful beyond expression to a whole host of people who contributed to the production of this record, but I’ll start with the ones whose work you will directly hear or see: Kylie Brach – vocals on Winter Bones Rick Branch – piano on 1849 Will Bulla – writing of most drum parts Luke Evans – the guy in the cover art Zach Evans – cover art production Clay Miller – cover art photography Additional thanks go out to my mom, Mallory Tho
