Born in Bong Mines, Liberia, Chillton fled to the Ivory Coast to escape the civil war that ravaged his homeland for fourteen years. While there, he worked as a studio producer and musician before moving to Trondheim Norway, in 2004. Chillton is now recognize as a reggae star committed to inspiring society to lay a peaceful foundation for the coming generations. He is lauded as one of the best African musicians of the twenty-first century.
