With influences ranging from folk, roots country, traditional, blues, rock, honky tonk, and reggae, strings-n-tuba is an odd little combo band consisting of Chris Cady on guitars and harmonica, Jake Jackson on violin/fiddle, and yes, Joel Adams on tuba. No drummer. This album is somewhat of a Chris Cady solo release as well as a strings-n-tuba recording. Our good friend Alison Smiley also contributes vocals on nine of the eleven tracks. This album ended up being a well-rounded representation of Chris Cady's solo sound, the strings-n-tuba group, and the Tell Tale Hearts duet which features Kenzie Bailey and Chris Cady.
