2010 MDK became a full time music artist and began a journey touring across Canada with 2x Grammy nominee Fresh IE. Starting at the 2010 Olympics where they performed in front of tens and thousands of fans in attendance, on this tour they also visited, Ottawa (Billy Graham Association), Nuunavik, Cobourg youth prison, and Pikangikum Ont. (Suicide capitol of the world). As well as many other places across Canada. Given MDK's background and former life of Gangs Drugs and addictions his turning point was in2006 making a healthy life style change and then employed with Teen Challenge Okanagan as Public Relations/Booking Rep for 4yrs helping men aged 18-59 coming out of various forms and backgrounds of serious addictions, assisting them in their recovery process. MDK has a passion to approach the youth of today with his gifts/abilities culture relevant to see them make positive life choices. With hopes to gear them to take a stand, be a leader, and focus on the bigger picture at hand avoiding the detours in life
