Esko Laine (b. 1961 in Helsinki) is a professor of music at Hans Eisler Musikhochschule in Berlin. He was the first Finnish musician to obtain a post at the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. He has won several international prizes such as Isle of Man, Markneukirchen and the ARD International Music Competition
