Having been inspired by artists like Bob Dylan, Bright Eyes, Elliott Smith, and Ryan Adams, it’s easy to see why Austin Plaine found a love for songwriting and lyrics. The Minneapolis-based singer/songwriter turned to music as his personal outlet and hasn’t looked back since. In late 2013, Austin headed to Nashville, Tennessee where he teamed up with WEVOLVE Music to start working on what was to become his debut release, and after a successful Noisetrade campaign in early March, the 11 track self-titled album was released on 3/18/14. With an upcoming independent radio campaign in the Spring, as well as a heavy focus on TV & film licensing, you can expect to be hearing a lot more of Austin Plaine this year.
