With an dynamic disposition and a voice that captivates listeners, Miella has already made an impact on the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) scene as a vocalist. Fortunately for EDM fans, her devotion to the craft ensures that she will continue to do so. Although widely regarded as a distinguished “rookie” in electronic music’s recent history, Miella has released tracks on Armada Music and Revealed Recordings; two of the most prominent EDM labels in the industry. Her breakout hit on the Kid Massive and Alex Sayz track “Strong,” with its popularity among renowned DJs such as Tiesto and David Guetta, forecasts even more success and notoriety for the singer. Miella’s vocals also garnered favorable attention when Dannic introduced a remixed version of “Strong” at Ultra Music Festival in Miami earlier this year.\r \r Miella began taking voice lessons when she was eleven and to learn guitar at fourteen. After quickly honing both of these skills, she joined her local open mic night circuit. It wasn’t long before she flourished there as well. Already on the fast track, Miella moved from her home town on the Jersey Shore to Los Angeles when she was only eighteen. Here she pursued degrees in Vocal Performance at the Musician’s Institute and in Music Business with the Independent Artist Recording Program (IAP) and it was there she recorded her first EP “Been There, Done That.” The singer found herself immersed in music theory, sight singing, learning piano, and perfecting her live performance–and she loved every minute of it. Dedicated to writing all of her own melodies and lyrics, Miella committed herself to developing her writing ability by enrolling in as many songwriting classes as she could and by entering songwriting competitions in Southern California.
