Susanne Sundfør is a Norwegian singer/songwriter who was born and grew up in Haugesund. She currently lives and studies in Bergen. She has played several gigs in Oslo and Haugesund as well as a concert in 2005 with Tom McRae. In february 2006 she was featured in the Norwegian music business festival by:Larm in Tromsø. Susanne Sundfør masters both jazz and classical music, and she has developed her own musical style with elements from both these genres. She is often compared to songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Carole King. Sundfør is also inspired by Jeff Buckley, Radka Toneff, Ane Brun and Thomas Dybdahl.
