Kelley Jakle is an actress-singer-songwriter from Sacramento, CA. As the only girl in a family with two older brothers, Kelley's first role was that of tomboy - playing competitive soccer, basketball, and swimming, but she discovered her true calling when she starred as a Fuzzy Caterpillar in her 3rd grade play and was known for singing the National Anthem at her championship swim meets. Kelley has been acting, singing and dancing ever since. While just a freshman in high school, Kelley began writing music while accompanying herself on the piano. Drawing from such inspirations as Andrew McMahon, Michelle Branch, Patti Griffin, and Sheryl Crow, Kelley blended passionate piano playing with soulful vocal melodies, and by her sixteenth birthday produced her first acoustic CD, Spare Change, containing five original songs. That was followed up by the 2007 iTunes release of the album including three additional produced tracks and By the Way, the self-titled CD by her Sacramento pop-rock band. High school was busy for Kelley as she continued to refine her talent for acting by starring in stage productions that varied from satirical comedies such as Urinetown (as Hope Cladwell) and The Princess Bride (as Princess Buttercup), to poignant and thought-provoking works like The Laramie Project (as Catherine Connolly).
