Nyx is a German female Black Metal duo, made off Blitz (drums/vocals) and Vinterbarn (guitars/vocals). The band was brought to life in 2011 to explore the endless metastases of the aspiring soul within a musical dimension. Their journey succeeded in carfting music which is akcered in traditional Black Metal roots, while still offering a multi-faceted and imaginative approach, tuck in the subtlety of female vocals. The close collaboration of two restless minds created the pathway to enter the depths of chaos, which release the roaring sound of wrath, as well as a screaming despair and a silent yearning. After recording the "Satis" – demo, dedicated to the element water, in 2012 - the band focused on their debut studio album, a departure towards their inner "Home", which resulted in a personal effort under the very same title. "Home" was recorded and produced in Blackout Studio (Enthroned, Corpus Christii, Emptiness, Lvcifyre) with Enthroned's bassit Phorgath behind the console. The band comments: "We are Nyx. And this restless album is our joint search for the inner home. Welcome to roaring wrath, screaming despair and silent yearning - welcome home". "Home" will be available for public consumption in 2015, in CD and digital formats.
